ABOUT THE SOHNADHANI PROGRAM BY
GD GOENKA MPH STUDENTS
• A child health and nutrition program was held at the government middle school in Sohnadhani, Gurugram.
• This program was basically about creating awareness and educating the schoolchildren along with the staff of the school about proper intake of nutrition and how they can maintain good health by adopting healthy eating and having a nutrient-rich diet, which not only helps in maintaining body metabolism and functioning but also has an impact on child growth and development.
• For creating awareness and educating the schoolchildren and the staff, our team of MPH had prepared posters, slogans, games, and speeches to boost their interest in the program so that they could take active participation in maintaining good health. We also provided them with some games for solving puzzles so that they could easily learn everything about a balanced and nutritional diet.
• A positive aspect of this program was that we were able to create awareness and educate them about what child health and nutrition are, which healthy eating habits they can adopt, and how they can prevent diseases that cause growth retardation. This program had a great impact on school staff and children.
• By doing such a program, we can make a little contribution to a healthy nation. This program will help in creating a positive impact that results in the adoption of good habits and a healthy lifestyle.
• For making this program work, we have taken the help of social media to make some fresh thoughts and slogens like kuposhan se poshan ki aur, and for recording video, our team uses our own phones, cameras, and megaphones for the interaction.
• The government should periodically do a survey or awareness program at government schools.
• A proper balanced diet should be provided to the weaker section of society, i.e., the children from poor families who cannot afford healthy food.

CONCLUSION
• The whole article is about children, health, and nutrition, through which we can promote healthy eating habits and a healthy life, and we can educate the children about balanced nutrition and saying no to junk food.
• The program was a great achievement for our team because it had a positive impact on children. Out of 50–60 students, 45 had adopted healthy eating habits, which is a great achievement for a public health worker.
